This low chroma painting is an excellent example of the still life I prefer to paint. Though the colours are dull for me, the refraction of light and the shadows the transparent objects cast, provide a challenge for me to paint. If you don’t challenge yourself as an artist, your growth as that artist will be limited indeed.
