Expressive brushwork captured in quinacridone violet, this is one of my better abstract paintings, done with the same single brush that I painted my life-size lion.
One can achieve a similar effect using a rag wrapped around a finger and dipped in oil paint. I’ve tried this fingerpainting technique before, and it worked out rather well.
