"Bridal Veil Falls"

$575.00

acrylic on canvas, 18” x 24”, 2024, Chilliwack, BC

My painting of Bridal Falls is done in a style known throughout the History of Art as “Divisionism.” I rarely paint in this style now, however in my early days in Vancouver, I painted this way obsessively. There are many of my paintings around Vancouver completed in this style.

A lot of people in Vancouver argued that my Divisionism, and the paintings I did in Vancouver weren’t qualified as art, as they were done from photographs for the most part. It was Andy Warhol, one of the most successful contemporary artists who said “while people are arguing over whether or not your work is art, just keep producing more art!”
